Future Job

Hi

Well... I’m not sure of the specialty to which I wish to devote because there’s a wide variety of options like medical, criminal, environmental… even bureaucratic.

The main focus of my career is the research, and how we can apply it to discover new things about the living beings. One of the greatest fields is medical research where scientists are trying to find a cure for a several diseases or the way of prolonging life expectancy. Another field, that is currently gaining importance, is the environmental research and new methods for combating pollution as some bacteria that can degrade plastic or other pollutants. 

Also, related to this, the field of botany I think is very interesting… because the plants are natural agents that help decrease air pollution levels of carbon dioxide and reduce the temperature of soil to avoid direct exposure to UV radiation. In medical research, the plants can help us a lot because the phytotherapy always existed… so we can mix centuries of experience with fabulous technological advances and get the best solutions to various problems thanks to living beings whose existence allows us. 

I would like to devote myself to research with plants but I think is too early to decide… among so many options…
