My Future Profession

Hi! Today I’ll tell you about my future profession.
As I mentioned in other post, I study Biochemistry in the University of Chile. This profession is special to me because it combines biology and chemistry, two scientific subjects that I like and that share a strong link.

The Biochemistry focuses on microbiology, the cellular world, and the chemical interactions between them. Is important in the medical field, because it studies the behavior of the cells, and the effect of different drugs in front of pathologies of these cells. In the last time, the Biochemistry has been very important in the study of cancer, specifically on how to stop the advance of this disease. However, this profession not only exercised in the clinical field, also has an important role in the environmental science, another problem that affects the worlds today, and in the agronomic field with the genetic engineering, along with Biotechnology.

That is why i like the biochemistry, has a wide field to assist in the problems affecting the world, such as environmental pollution, famine and pandemics.
